Ah, time. It’s a fickle thing, isn’t it? One moment you are enjoying your twenties, hangovers last a few mere hours and the next you are deep in the throes of parenthood, cleaning up the gastro bug that has torn through your house.
So lovely.
I know time goes fast, because I witness it every single day. My children are growing up so quickly, past the stage of constantly needing their mama and man, sometimes I miss it. It’s a wild ride those first few years and it feels constant and exhausting and overwhelming, and sometimes it’s hard to be present and truly take in the moment.
This is why I do what I do. I capture those fleeting moments, the little ones that take your breath away. You’ll forever have images capturing your little ones as they are, during this wild season of your life. Hindsight is a magical thing isn’t it?
Photography has long been a love of mine. Whilst raising my babies I found that Photography filled my cup creatively and allowed me the freedom to not only capture this special time for you, but to be there for my kids when they needed me. Such a gift!
I am a lover of the sun, the sea, nature and belly laughs that make your cheeks hurt. My family and friends are everything to me, when I’m not photographing, you’ll find me adventuring with them (or taking them to various activities). The ideal weekend for me is hanging at home by the pool with a drink in hand, catching up with friends, or escaping Sydney and camping with my family.
I want you to have memories of your babies littleness – because soon enough they will have flown the coop and all you’ll have left is the memories in your heart – and the memories on your walls.
What to expect from Sue
Sessions with me are relaxed, fun and filled with joy. We play games, be silly with the kids and by the end of the session we feel like we’ve just been hanging out with old friends. As a mum of three, I know what kids are like, so my goal is to get everyone relaxed and having a good time, and the beautiful, authentic images will follow. Zero pressure. Just hanging out with your loved ones, spending quality time connecting with them. I lightly guide you so you can relax in front of the camera. I’m with you every step of the way, from booking through to gallery delivery (and I hope many more sessions to come!).
