Those Precious First Days – Newborn Photography in the Hills District
You’ve waited months for this tiny human… and now they’re here.
The little squeaks. The squishy cheeks. The way their whole hand wraps around just one of your fingers.
It’s magic — and it’s fleeting.
Those first few weeks are a whirlwind of feeding, settling, and wondering when you last had a proper shower. But trust me, in the middle of all that, there’s something worth pausing for — capturing this once‑in‑a‑lifetime stage.
I’m based in Baulkham Hills, and my light‑filled studio is set up for exactly this — a warm, cosy space where you can sit back with a coffee while I photograph your brand‑new little love. I keep it calm, relaxed, and baby‑led. No rush, no stress — just gentle posing and natural moments that show exactly how perfect they are right now.
The ideal time for a newborn session is when your baby is between 1–3 weeks old — when they’re still sleepy, curly, and happy to be swaddled. That’s when we can capture all the teeny‑tiny details you’ll never want to forget: the pouty lips, the wispy hair, the wrinkly little toes, and that way they tuck right into your chest like they were made to be there (because, well, they were). But don’t worry if you’ve been in the newborn bubble - you haven’t missed out! I photograph babies up to 3 months old!
Whether you’re from Castle Hill, Kellyville, Rouse Hill, The Ponds, Bella Vista, Norwest or anywhere local in the Hills District, my studio is just around the corner — ready for you to come in, exhale, and let me document this incredible new chapter for your family. And from anywhere else in Sydney I am close to M2 and M7 so it’s easy for you too.
Because the truth is, the newborn stage is a blink. And one day, you’ll be so glad you have these photos to hold on to, long after your little one’s tiny toes are running down the hallway.
Booking newborn sessions for the rest of 2025.
If you’d like to capture your baby’s first chapter in a way that’s relaxed, heartfelt, and full of love — I’d be honoured to tell your story.
