Celebrating the BIG ONE year old

Such a gorgeous little girl! I had met Violet twice before her cake smash session - at her newborn (don't worry I wouldn't expect her to remember me from then! haha) and also at the Christmas mini session last year. She's such a smiley baby and that little dimple on her cheek melts my heart every time I see her!

Today though, she was only happy with her parents and her Nanna. She tried a little bit of cake... but she wasn't that into it. It's ok though, we managed to get some beautiful shots of her with her most precious people - and that's all that matters. Because at the end of the day we are celebrating the milestone of her being ONE. And hand on heart, I truly believe that we aren't just celebrating her, but her parents as well. It is absolutely life-changing becoming a parent - no longer can you have big nights out - well you can if you're happy to pay for it the next morning when bubs wants to get up before sunrise- haha! There should be cake and celebration for the parents too. Yippee! It's cake time guys!
